After yesterday’s post, I thought I might write yesterday but didn’t get around to it. Instead, I did 4 loads of laundry and other assorted household chores. But I did wake up before dawn this morning and write 350 words. It felt so good, I think I’ve realized (again) that I can’t choose between writing fiction and writing songs – I must do both.

And so in preparation of the new year, I think I might need to change up my blog design (again), to reflect more of who I am as a writer and songwriter and not just songwriter.

I might also want to include my lifestyle change living at the beach. I just “heard” what I just wrote – I’m now living in a beach city in Florida just 8 miles to the actual beach just like I did growing up 8 miles from the beach in Southern California.
