Kathy grew up in Southern California, halfway between Disneyland and the beach with a book in one hand and a transistor radio in the other. She wrote stories about her family in school and wrote her first song with a childhood friend. They called themselves the “Screamie Birds.”

She now writes novels set on cruise ships and other travel locales, writes and produces dance music, and likes to imagine life as a DJ. Ironically, she is now living in Florida (with her husband and 3 cats) near Disney World and the beach.
