Actor, musician, author Jonathan Jackson said in his book, The Mystery of Art, that if your audience is 10 or 10,000, perform like it’s 10,000.

Still, in my latest video on YouTube, I’m still waiting for 10 views. But, yeah, I get the idea behind it. No matter how small your audience, give it your all. Something we need to be reminded me of when it feels like nobody is watching, listening, reading.

Because, as much as I’d love to grow my audience, in the end, I do it for myself. I need my music and books. I need to create. I need to express myself through these avenues. And if others enjoy what I do, that’s awesome!
