Our first cruise on the new Sphere class for Princess was the Sun Princess, a 4-day sailing out of Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale. This cruise would bring us to Platinum and give us a chance to try out this new class, built on the same chasis as Carnival Mardi Gras. We weren’t a fan of the Mardi Gras layout, so our expectations were low for Sun Princess. But, ship-wise, Princess exceeded them.
