As part of Nov/Nov (the replacement for NaNoWriMo), I started writing a novel called “Night Moon.” And as I was writing, I began imagining a concept album inspired by that story. This was my focus for FAWM 2026. This is the title song.
As you can see from the comments I share in the video, the response to this song was so overwhelmingly positive that I must finished the novel.
The photo was taken aboard Star of the Seas and was the perfect thing for this project.

It’s time for the post FAWM comment videos for 2026. I’m starting with “One,” a play on the song made famous by Three Dog Night. This is one of my favorites for 2026 and now the FAWM community has spoken. I hope you enjoy!

My concept album, “Night Moon,” part of FAWM (February Album Writing Month) 2026, based on a novel I started writing during Nov/Nov in 2025 is now available on Bandcamp. Now that the album is finished, I need to finish the novel.
Song #9 is “When I Chose Him.” This is one of those situations when a couple can’t seem to be single at the same time. Perhaps that’s the backstory of our protagonist in “Night Moon.”
So I managed to slip in song #7 from FAWM 2026, “Slip of the Tongue.”
This continuing story (“Night Moon”) was starting to depress me so I needed to have some fun with it. This is song #8 for FAWM 2026. Looks like I forgot song #7. I’ll have to slip that in.
