My concept album, “Night Moon,” part of FAWM (February Album Writing Month) 2026, based on a novel I started writing during Nov/Nov in 2025 is now available on Bandcamp. Now that the album is finished, I need to finish the novel.
“When I Chose Him”
Song #9 is “When I Chose Him.” This is one of those situations when a couple can’t seem to be single at the same time. Perhaps that’s the backstory of our protagonist in “Night Moon.”
“Slip of the Tongue”
So I managed to slip in song #7 from FAWM 2026, “Slip of the Tongue.”
“Jazz Night at the Night Moon”
This continuing story (“Night Moon”) was starting to depress me so I needed to have some fun with it. This is song #8 for FAWM 2026. Looks like I forgot song #7. I’ll have to slip that in.

“Tequila, Take Me Home” (Remix)
Song #6 is “Tequila, Take Me Home.” I wrote a song with this same title during my first FAWM (2018) but felt compelled to rewrite it, which may or may not be part of the concept album. The main character in “Night Moon” feels like I do in Florida – homesick. Is that why she sleepwalks? Or is there more to it than that?
“The Dress”
In song #5, “The Dress,” our story continues with our sleepwalker headed for some trouble. Love how one FAWMER describes it, “Comes in like a train!”
