The latest group I am absolutely wild about is from Glasgow, Scotland and they’re called “The Vintage Explosion” featuring songs like those of Sam Cooke and the Platters. Here’s one of my favorites back in the day, although I was too young to really understand it. I thought “Smoke Gets” was “smokettes” and I wondered what “smokettes” were – lol!

And then this one – how could you not be moved by this?
